He took a loan of 5 lakh rupees from his father and invested some money in the land and reached the city to dream in the eyes with the rest of the money. After reaching Mumbai, he wanted to meet J.M Financial Company head Mahendrani Recalling that round, he explains that he has reached his office directly to meet them, he also without appointment. When they reached their office, they went from the stairs instead of the elevators until the 6th floor. Because they saw the elevator for the first time and they did not know how it works. Tired, he reached his office and fortunately he met them. Just since then, a new journey has begun. Working with Mahendra Kamapani, Siddhartha got a lot of knowledge of trading and stock market.
After working there for two years Siddhartha returned to Bangalore. With the new dreams and passions, he thought of opening his own financial firm with a savings of two lakh rupees. It was a time when the stock market was falling significantly. Although he had a big opportunity in it and he invested 30 thousand rupees in the stock market. During this time, he was talking about a deal with a German coffee brand owner. He was so influenced by his words that he also saw a lot of coffee market.

Inspired, in the year 1993, he started a coffee export company named Amalgamated Bean Company (ABC). The company used to export 28,000 tonnes of coffee annually. Their local sales were about 2,000 tons, which fetched 30 million rupees five lakhs. His coffee production and export company Amalgamated Bean Company (ABC) had an annual sales of 25 billion rupees. ABC is the largest exporter of green coffee in India today. Simultaneously Siddhartha always kept doing research to make something different and unique.

The Internet was also new in that period and a boom for the people too. Siddhartha is thinking of opening an internet café where people can have a good place to sit and together they can also enjoy coffee there. With this thought, he opened Café Coffee Day in Bengaluru and Chennai in 1996. This was Bangalore's first Internet cyber cafe. Gradually its craze grew in youth and café Coffee Day became a café chain. Today Cafe Coffee Day has more than 1600 outlets across the country. In addition, more than 6000 employees also work there. Café Coffee Day is spread across countries like Malaysia, Egypt, Austria, Sichak, and also in India. To expand the company in June 2010, he acquired a Café Chen Cafe Emporio of the Czech Republic. Cafe Emporio has 11 cafés in the Czech Republic.
