ABOUT VARUN CHAKRWATI:-

Varun, who was from Tamil Nadu, used to play cricket since the school days. Initially, he was a wicket-keeper batsman. At the time of the passing, it came at a time when he had to move forward with his career, leaving cricket. However, his passion for cricket has always been sustained. After successfully completing his Architecture studies, he started his career as an architect. He used to play cricket often by taking time out of the job. One day after working for two years, he realized that he was not employed for the job of 9 to 5. This was the time when he decided to move forward with his passion.

He joined as the all-rounder (fast bowler and batsman) at the Cromwell Cricket Club. However, his luck was only approved. He had to quit fast bowling soon, because in the second match he got his knee hurt. Then, as a bowler for his team, Tamilnadu, he performed wonders at times. Thanks to these performances, he got an opportunity to play in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, where he showed the way to many top batsmen in the pavilion. After this, he got an opportunity to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he presented a fantastic specimen of his abilities. Here he took 22 wickets in 9 matches and became the highest wicket taker from the group stage.
Because of their such performances, IPL franchisees showed interest in them and they were bought 42 times more than their base price of Rs 20 lakh for Rs 8.4 crore. Let us tell you that Delhi and Chennai started the bid. Seeing this, the bid became more interesting when Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders jumped into the race and thus the bids started from Rs 20 lakh ended up at 8.4 million rupees.
