ABOUT :-

IAS Officer Dr. Priyanka Shukla is a unique example of women empowerment. The story of this batch official bureau is an example for younger generations. Priyanka's father, who was born and grew up in Haridwar, wanted the daughter name to be on the nameplate of DM. His interest in fulfilling his father's dream was also on this, but due to professional degrees, he had to choose a medical field. But then there was an incident in his life that made him a young Indian IAS.


STUDY:-

 After completing MBBS from King George's Medical College in Lucknow, he started doing an internship. During the internship, he had to go to a nearby slum for treatment. During this, he met a woman who came here for treatment. Prior to treatment, Priyanka had always instructed to be careful for her cleanliness. During a day's investigation, Priyanka saw him taking dirty water. In spite of the instruction, seeing her do it, Priyanka got angry and she got upset on that lady. In response, the reaction of the woman to open up Priyanka's eyes.

Inspired by this fact, Priyanka decided to become an administrative officer so that the condition and direction of the people can change in society. Due to the inspiration of social service, Priyanka got involved in the preparation of UPSC and got success in the year 2008. As Jashpur's district collector, he started many ambitious schemes.

MISSIONS:- 

In July 2016, he started an initiative called 'Success Jashpur' under his mission resolution to spread quality education in higher secondary and higher schools. With the help of the fund deposited by the Trust District Mineral Foundation (DMF), they should conduct a number of programs at the widespread level in the schools, which generated awareness amongst the students and also got good results.
(According to The New Indian Express, about 51 out of 143 government schools in the district have recently secured 100% pass percentage in class X and XII state board exams. 89% for class X in the district and 93.5% for class 12th is remarkably high pass percentage, whereas the state average is 68% and 77% respectively.)
Apart from this, he made another remarkable start last year. Last August, the local administration established a self-help group in which the victims of human trafficking were included, who were encouraged to open their bakery in the city of Consbel in Jashpur district. The bakery was named 'Beti Zindabad' and it has started 20 girls.
Priyanka is truly a belligerent officer, who believes in empowerment of all. Along with a doctor, his position as a successful administrative officer is really strengthening the society.
